Andrew started at McDonald Jones Homes in 1992 as a Contracts Manager. His strong accountancy background and leadership skills led him to become a Director and Shareholder of McDonald Jones in 1997. Andrew has overseen significant growth in the organisation and is committed to delivering excellent client service, quality internal systems, and sound financial direction. He has also been pivotal to the establishment of our Charitable Foundation.

Ian was appointed chair of NXT Building Group in January 2020. He is a director and chair of the audit & risk committee of ASX-listed New Hope Corporation and Vice-President of the Australia Japan Business Cooperation Committee.
He brings the experience of 20 years as a partner in international law firms working on Japan-Australia business. Ian is the only person to have represented both the Australian Wallabies and Japanese Brave Blossoms.

Koji joined the NXT Building Group in 2022 as a representative of Japanese shareholder Asahi Kasei Homes. Upon commencing with the Group, he was appointed as a Director.

Koji's strong background and experience have seen him manage numerous mergers and acquisitions for Asahi Kasei and successfully deliver new business incubation projects.

The NXT Building Group is now leveraging Koji's capabilities and knowledge to achieve business growth for the organisation.

His key responsibilities will be to discuss and set group strategies and policies to achieve NXT Building Group’s mid-term business plan and goals and working closely with the Australian senior management team.

Yoshi was appointed Director in 2021 following Asahi Kasei Homes further investment in the NXT Building Group.
Yoshi's career at Asahi Kasei Homes spans more than 35 years. He commenced with AKH as a Sales Consultant, and later in his career worked in various roles, including Branch, HR and Admin GM.

Since 2018, Yoshi has been overseeing Asahi Kasei Homes’ overseas business both in Australia and the US.
Yoshi is fully committed to supporting the NXT Building Group and its goals of providing our customers with comfortable and affordable premium housing.

Masato Hamajima

Masato was appointed as a Director of NXT Building Group in April 2022.

Masato brings more than 20 years of experience working with the Asahi Kasei Group. His extensive career has focused on the construction materials sector, developing insulation materials, optimising manufacturing processes and improving product value.

His key role at NXT Building Group is to drive environmental initiatives, including carbon neutral, which is becoming increasingly important in the industry.

Taka joined the NXT Building Group as a Director in 2019 with a career of more than 25 years in the construction of residential dwellings and apartments in Japan, working in Asahi Kasei Homes.
Taka's focus is on construction improvement and adding the structure to R&D across the Group.
Having started his career as a Supervisor, Taka has handed over more than 500 residential homes to customers, and he approaches everything that he undertakes with a “customer centric” attitude.

Cameron Lade is an experienced leader in the residential building sector, with more than 20 years of direct experience in the industry.

Cameron joined the NXT Building Group in 2021 to lead the NSW/ACT operations of the Group. Cameron’s background of developing and executing business strategies and high-performance culture and championing a unbeatable customer service positions him perfectly to take the NSW business into the future.

Prior to Joining the NXT Building Group Anthony spent 30 years with leading ASX 200 industrial Company CSR. Anthony, a qualified chemical engineer, held a number of roles with CSR at state and national level.

As Executive General Manager CSR Masonry & Insulation Anthony was responsible for managing 20 manufacturing sites and 1,400 employees. Anthony leads the Groups manufacturing businesses.

Brad has been in the building industry for almost as long as the NXT Building Group.
At age 16, Brad started his career, spending his first 17 years in the industry working with supplies and the remainder of his time in construction.
Brad joined the NXT Building Group in 2017 as a CEO to help the company to transition the Queensland thread of McDonald Jones into Brighton Homes. He looks forward to transforming Brighton into a leading Queensland home and multi-residential builder one project at a time.

Joining the NXT Building Group in January 2020 as CEO of Weeks, Peter started his career in Sales within the hospitality industry.
Prior to entering the construction industry 8 years ago Peter worked from the Finance, Pharmacy and White Goods Industry. Peter is a passionate South Australian who recently returned home after 7 years in Queensland.

With over 15 years’ experience in the residential construction industry, Tim started his career as an Apprentice Carpenter, before progressing through a variety of roles across different building companies in NSW and TAS.
Tim's progression between companies and roles has allowed him to gain a thorough understanding of residential construction and running a successful business. Having joined McDonald Jones Homes in 2011 as part of the Sales Estimating team, he went on to lead the division of the business before becoming the CEO of Wilson Homes in 2017. Tim is passionate and highly driven to see the Wilson Homes business succeed, and has a clear vision for what this business will look like in the future.

Glen is a qualified Accountant, holds a Master’s degree in Applied Finance, is a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australia (FINSIA) and is one of the earliest members of the Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia (MFAA).
Following a career with leading financial institutions and founding successful finance businesses, such as Mortgageport in 1998, Glen teamed up with the NXT Building Group to create MyChoice Home Loans. Glen is passionate about gaining the trust and respect of all his customers so they can continue a relationship long after their home is built.

Nick joined the NXT Building Group as Financial Controller in 2012, and took over the CFO role in January 2015.
Starting out in one of the Big 4 accounting firms, Nick brings a wealth of knowledge to the business following a successful chartered career and a number of Senior Finance roles in some of Australia’s largest ASX listed companies. Nick has made significant changes to the way in which Finance ‘puts itself into the operations’, whilst at the same time ensuring we maintain a strong financial position.

Brett joined the NXT Building Group in 2020 following a career of more than 35 years in corporate communications and broadcast media.
He works with the executive team across the Group's brands providing strategic communications advice to build awareness.
He also manages communications with government and industry bodies.

He manages a dynamic team of marketing professionals who continue to keep NXT Group brands at the forefront of the residential home building market, setting the benchmark for others to follow.

Elizabeth joined NXT Building Group in 2021 and has over 20 years of experience in HR. This complements an impressive start to her career in Safety.

Elizabeth has gained her experience in large companies, including OneSteel, RCR Infrastructure, ResMed, Ruralco and most recently APA. Elizabeth’s strengths as a Commercial Business Partner have seen her lead many significant business transformational change programs. Elizabeth has qualifications in WHS and HR and is currently completing her MBA.
