The Port Stephens Mayoral Academic Scholarship Program, running since 2017, was created to give local students starting TAFE or university the opportunity to receive a $2,000 scholarship to help cover the cost of their studies.

McDonald Jones has supported The Port Stephens Mayoral Academic Scholarship Program since inception, offering their support for the next generation of business and industry leaders from Port Stephens.

This annual program encourages students to apply for the scholarships between December and January each year, with winners announced at a presentation in February.
